Google's Find Hub App - User With Multiple AccountsUpdated 2 months ago
If you are logged into multiple Google accounts on the same Android device (phone or tablet), additional steps may be required to ensure your SmartCard is linked to the correct account in the Google Find Hub app.
My SmartCard Disappeared from the App
If your SmartCard was previously paired but no longer appears in the app, it may be linked to a different Google account on your device.
When pairing your SmartCard:
1. The device automatically links to the primary (default) Google account set on your phone.
2. This happens regardless of which account you selected inside the Find Hub app.
3. During pairing, the email address being linked is shown in the Fast Pair pop-up.
If you cannot find your device, check whether it is associated with another account on your phone.
Check for Multiple Google Accounts on Your Phone
To confirm if multiple accounts are signed in:
1. Open any Google app.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
3. Review the list of accounts shown.
To switch accounts inside Google Find Hub:
1. Open the Google Find Hub app.
2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
3. If multiple accounts are available, tap the arrow next to the email address.
4. Select another account from the list.
The account displayed at the top is typically the default (primary) account.
How to Link the SmartCard to a Specific Google Account
If you want your SmartCard linked to a specific Google account:
The only reliable method is to set that account as the primary (default) Google account on your Android device before pairing.
Because pairing always links to the phone’s primary account, changing the default account is required when multiple accounts are signed in.
Since steps vary by Android version and manufacturer, we recommend:
1. Searching for instructions specific to your phone model on how to change the default Google account.
2. Contacting Google Support if needed.

I Can No Longer Access the Account My Device Is Linked To
If you no longer have access to the Google account (for example, forgotten password or login issues), you may attempt the following:
1. Perform a factory reset of the SmartCard.
2. Attempt to pair the device again.
