FAQ
What key thickness is recommended to fit up to 5 keys?
The 5-key capacity is based on standard flat keys approximately 2 mm thick. With keys of this thickness, you can install up to 5 keys total.
What is the maximum key size that fits?
The KeySmart Air FKM is designed for standard house keys, typically around 2 inches (5.1 cm) in length. Maximum capacity assumes key thickness of approximately 2.5–3 mm, which is standard in most countries.
Can I expand my KeySmart Air FKM?
No. Because this model features a flexible FKM silicone body, using an Expansion Pack may cause excessive flexing and potentially damage the product. Expansion is not recommended.
Is it possible to add tools instead of keys?
Yes. KeySmart offers compatible tools and accessories such as the Bottle Opener, Folding Knife, and other add-ons designed to integrate seamlessly with the organizer.
Do accessories take up more space than keys?
Some accessories may occupy more space than standard flat keys. Most USB drives typically use the space of approximately 2 key slots, while accessories such as the Bottle Opener usually use 1 key slot. Capacity may vary depending on accessory thickness.
