To ensure your SmartLock works properly and connects successfully to the Apple Find My app, please follow the steps below:

1. Press and release the Find My button quickly to power on your SmartLock.

2. Open the Apple Find My app on your iPhone or other compatible Apple device.

3. Tap the “+” icon and select “Add Other Item.”

4. Wait for your SmartLock to appear on the screen, then tap on it to begin the pairing process.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup, including choosing a custom name and icon for your SmartLock.

Once setup is complete, you’ll be able to view your SmartLock on the map, play a sound to help locate it nearby, and use all the features available through the Apple Find My Network.
