Does the SmartCard Emit Alerts Of Unwanted Tracking?Updated 2 days ago

The SmartCard is an Apple Find My™ certified product and therefore follows the same rules as other Apple Find My™ accessories when linked to the Find My™ app.
SmartCard claimed on Find My App that is not with its owner for a period of time will emit a sound when they are moved. You may also receive an alert on your Apple device (please check Apple support for more details on unwanted tracking).
It's not possible to silence the beeps if the SmartCard item is moving without its owner or a shared account. If you are the owner and your unit is beeping when you are near them, please contact us at [email protected]

If you have iPhone, iPad or iPod (OS 14.5 & up):
  • Make sure you have the correct settings to be notified about unwanted tracking.
  • You will receive an alert if any SmartCard has been moving with you.
  • You can tap on the alert and make the device ring to help you locate it.
If you found a device moving with you, please follow the instructions below to learn how to disable it:

How to Disable:
  • Locate the button on the front of the device.
  • Press and hold the Find My button on the Card for 3 seconds. The KeySmart SmartCard will beep twice.
  • Press and release the Find My button once. The KeySmart SmartCard will play a tune.
  • Press and hold the Find My button for 3 seconds. The KeySmart SmartCard will beep twice to confirm that the Find My network has been disabled.

How to Re-enable:
In case you have disabled your item, it will stop synchronizing its location. You can re-enable it by doing the following steps:
  • Press and release the Find My button. The KeySmart SmartCard will play a tune to confirm that the Find My network is enabled.
  • This will restart sharing the location of this item.
